Happy Monday, friends! I hope everyone had an awesome weekend and that today has been equally as wonderful. I am hopping on really quick to post a few things I’m loving lately, then it’s back to packing/organizing things before getting married next month and then moving right after! I am thrilled, but also been having to take on some major emotions as the happy days are drawing nearer and my dad won’t get to be here for them. The emotions have hit particularly hard this past weekend when Seth and I got our marriage license– I am just having to learn as I go how to handle it all and let the tears out when needed. I am super lucky to have the man that I do, because his calm nature and care have helped me through, along with support from my family + friends. Keeping my head up the best I can + looking forward- as dad would want that for me. Thanks to the new friends who have subscribed lately to this little blog. I love having such a creative, fun outlet, and I’m happy you’re here 🙂
I equally love both ice cream and snow cones this time of year, and lately have been super sad at the fact that there is no Braums where I’m moving! Seth and I love to share a Braums treat when he’s in town, and I’m going to have to find a new favorite for us to continue our little ice cream dates. Anyone tried any ice cream joints in the Austin area? Suggestions are needed! 😉
Being the girly girl that I am, I love all the hair accessory trends lately, and my personal faves are hair scarves, scrunchies, and hair clips. My favorite way to wear these is with a casual outfit to dress it up a bit. I have been going back and forth on weather or not I’m going to add some glam to my wedding updo or not- I love the way it looks with just the veil, and even alone it’s stunning, so not sure yet, but the hair accessory obsession is REAL!
I have been obsessed with this tee ever since I got it, bc I’m a Friends fan for life- obvi! 😉 I will forever have this tee on repeat for lazy days in or even a quick errand- it is so soft and perfect for anyone who loves this show as much as I do <3
Rustic Flower Vase
This was my first, and basically only purchase so far for when I move and live with Seth- so ready!! I didn’t want to have to move much stuff so I am trying to wait to get things together with him when we are in the same place. This vase is the perfect touch of rustic that will go well with my overall modern decor vision. Can’t wait to share more of our home decor picks later!
Dip Powder Nails
My newest nail obsession has been dip powder nails! I can’t believe how long they last, and the colors are always amazing! Whether you’re going for something super natural like I did above, or want a major pop of color, you must try dip powder! Can’t sing it’s praises enough!
